Pros: EfficientPIM is a full-featured personal information manager. It helps you organize and plan your business and private life. It is built on the interface style of outlook and can help you organize contacts, appointments, tasks, to-do lists, birthdays, diary and notes etc. Notes can be stuck, like the yellow notes, on the desktop for quick reference. You can even store passwords for safekeeping. The password manager can help you record and find all your passwords. The combined package is easy to use, particularly as it is designed in the style of familiar MS Outlook. The interface works consistently across the features. The program footprint is small and is supplied as an executable and can be operated from a flash drive. You can have custom fields added to the contacts, card view of the contact details are available, In addition to recording the information of your contacts, you can also track the events, appointments, tasks and diary related to them to enhance your personal network. The calendar can have several views by day, work week, month, year and time grid. Password manager, diary and notes are integrated and the editors used to make entries to the diary and make notes are on the styles of Word. You can have attachments to these entries that you make. Attachments can be added to events, tasks and contacts too. Subtasks to any task can be organized hierarchically as can the information be organized. Drag & drop support helps adding information easier. With such well organized information search is easy as a consequence. Recycle bin support, back up & restore and encrypted information storage adds to information security and protects against inadvertent deletion. The interface can be customized in up to 8 color schemes consistent with XP and Vista scheme.
Cons: The question to answer here is if this is sufficiently different from what Outlook can do.
Overall it is feature packed, it is easy to use and is good for a overall rating of 4 stars.
